Children's Sunday School
We offer Sunday School for children from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. each Sunday.
Biblical themes are chosen for different seasons. There is singing accompanied by guitar, crafts, games, and lessons.
Children's Choir
The children's choir sings seasonally, mainly Christmas and Holy Week. They rehearse usually after the Sunday English language worship service at 11:15 a.m. a month leading up to the presentation
Choir Ministries
Adult Choir
The adult choir rehearses from 9 a.m. - 9:40 a.m. on Sundays. You don't have to read music in order to participate. The choir mainly presents anthems in Advent and Holy Week. They may occasionally prepare an anthem for a special occasion.
Adult Bible Studies
“And let us not neglect our meeting together... but encourage one another.” Hebrews 10:25
Tyler Pottenger leads the Adult Bible Study Class every Sunday morning before the Worship Service at 9 AM. The class uses the official scripture-based study series from the United Methodist Church entitled Adult Bible Studies. Join us for lively discussion, powerful reflection, Bible study, prayer, laughter, and community, which will enhance and deepen your faith walk. Call 818-203-9299 for more information.
All are welcome!

A Youth and Young Adult Hawaii Mission Experience
After consecutive years of Sierra Service Projects (SSP) in the western U.S., a group of 19 from the Santa Maria First UMC and their youth director, Jenny Greenelsh, decided to try something else this past July. In collaboration with Kilohana UMC of Honolulu and Pastor Bob Isip, the group embarked on a week of mission projects and a Hawaiian immersion experience on Oahu. The theme was “aina, laulima, and ohana”--aina referring to the land, and laulima meaning many hands working together, all the while co-existing as ohana or family.
Facility Use
At Kilohana , we pursue the Glory of God through worship, ministry, giving and education. We strive to connect with Jesus Christ and to each other, in order to magnify His name. At the heart of everything we do is the understanding that we must love God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind, and to treat our neighbors as we wish to be treated ourselves.
